She seemed entitled I was going to unsubscribe to their YouTube channel but I would miss Gaby. Alison was funny but seemed fake one on one. I think they were funny but to my surprise that Gaby was nicer. Rating: 4 out of 5 Gaby is much nicer by Blue1212 on 9/10/17 Gramercy Theatre - New York.
The show was engaging, fun, and I wish it had gone longer because I could've sat their all day! The book they are on tour for was amazing as well, and the fact that their book tours money (not the money made from the book just the money from the tour) is going to help those affected by Harvey made it worth it even more! Amazing performers, amazing people, wish they were my friends Along with his comedy partner Allison Raskin, Gaby stars in, writes, and produces the YouTube channel Just Between Us, which has been viewed over 140. They were genuine, warm, and authentic in their performance. Not only were they funny, but their content truly reflected what they post online. I had so much fun seeing Gaby and Allison live. I found myself bookmarking a lot of quirky quotes that hopefully won't be use verbatim IRL because that's nearly impossible to imitate their bond and connection. Other times, I laughed so hard that I was crying and couldn't see the road. As I listen to eerily similar narrations at times, I found myself immersed into topics such as mental health & coming out as queer while dealing with the headache of young adulthood. Sometimes I had to pull curbside in order to gather my thoughts during certain chapters. Gaby Dunn and Allison Raskin tackle queer identity and mental health in their debut novel ‘I Hate Everyone But You. Raskin's and Dunn's vision of Ava Helmer and Genevieve Goldman were beautifully rendered from description of emojis to the emotion of miscommunicating and distancing within friendship.
